An exceptional 8.19-carat diamond ring, featuring a dazzlingly large marquise-cut lab-grown diamond at its center.
The diamond’s impressive dimensions, 21.00 × 10.55 millimeters, provide it with remarkable finger coverage. Its long, sharp-lined shape looks elegant on the hand and accentuates the scale of over eight carats in a way that is nearly impossible to convey in photographs.
The marquise brilliant cut combines a recognizable elongated silhouette with the lively sparkle characteristic of a brilliant cut. The rich faceting brings the surface of the stone to life and causes light to move beautifully from tip to tip as the viewing angle changes.
The IGI has graded the diamond as a high F color and an exceptionally high VVS2 clarity. The polish and symmetry of the stone are Excellent, and it has no fluorescence. The diamond has been grown using the CVD method and is classified as a Type IIa diamond.
The bright diamond and 14-karat white gold form a cohesive, almost icy ensemble. An open and architectural setting follows the lines of the marquise stone, keeping the diamond visible from the side as well and balancing its exceptional scale. A six-prong setting protects both delicate tips of the elongated stone and holds it firmly as the centerpiece of the ring.
With a weight of nearly 5.6 grams, the band makes the ring sturdy and convincing. The end result is modern, sculptural, and deliberately striking – a true showpiece for someone not looking for the ordinary.
The IGI report number is laser-engraved on the girdle of the main stone, allowing the diamond to be matched with the included original IGI report.
